Murodjon Mansurov entered the mansion of literature in the 60s. More than ten of the writer's novellas and novels have been published. The novellas and, in particular, the novel «Mangu jang» created by Murodjon Mansurov are distinguished by their vitality and sincerity, and the simplicity and richness of their language.
Biography
He worked as a correspondent for the Fergana region. Later, he served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the «Yoshlik» magazine. Afterwards, he worked at the «Sharq yulduzi» magazine.
Murodjon Mansurov's first work was titled «Aziz inson» (1963), which was about the writer's long-suffering, kind, and hardworking mother. For certain reasons, the work was not printed.
Since then, more than ten of the author's novellas and novels have been published.
He was originally from Tashkent, born in 1941 to a gardener's family in Qatortol, on the outskirts of Cholpon-ota's territory. His father, Mansurkhoja Turakhoja o‘g‘li, was a skilled gardener. He passed away when his son Murodjon was a child. The future writer grew up under the upbringing of his mother, Karomatkhan Umarkhoja qizi. After secondary school, he entered the construction faculty of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. Upon graduating, he worked as a design engineer. From these years on, his inclination for creativity awoke, and he began to write sketches, essays, and stories. «Seeing my writing, they called me to the republic's central newspaper «Qizil O‘zbekiston» (now «O‘zbekiston ovozi»),» the author writes in his autobiography.
His novellas such as «Sadarayhon» (1965), «Umr chorrahalari» (1972), «Qirg‘oqlar» (1975), «Hammaning yashagisi keladi» (1980), «Yombi» (1988), and novels such as «Mangu jang» (1985) and «Gunohi azim» (1995) have been warmly received by demanding readers.
Volumes I-II of his three-volume novel «Judolik diyori» have been published and presented to readers. The work is in some sense an adventure story, in which the life and experiences of a people who have lost their way from their land and are still wandering are expressed in a manner mixed with rays of Islamic enlightenment and spirituality.
